Overview

This free online course teaches the user about fundamentals of using a vision measuring machine for metrology. Students will learn basic mathematical and engineering concepts as they relate to metrology, such as coordinate systems. This course will also explain how the vision machine works, detailing the optics, and give a brief introduction to alignments. After completing this course, students will have a basic understanding of metrology concepts, and a knowledge of the history and industrial applications of the vision measuring machine.
