Overview

In this course the basics of GMAW simulation are discussed. The course starts with the description of the project, creating a new project, then going through the whole process of parts import and positioning, fixture impot and positioning, definition of materials, creation of weld paths and weld beads, setting up the process parameters, and running a calibration. The calibration process is briefly explained, and calibration results are shown. Then, the final thermal-mechanical results are post processed, showing tips and trick to facilitate the interpretation of results.
