Why do you call it "The Demon"?

Is PC-DMIS the demon, or does it just come with one?

Apologies for the choice of location. I just passed my M test today so I'm kinda bubbly.

  • PC-DMIS, especially older versions, is very bad with memory management (as in physical memory, RAM). Having more RAM can help. Saving often helps. Not doing too much cut/copy/pasting helps. Closing and re-opening PC-DMIS regularly helps.

I have had 2 "Crashes" in 2012 MR1 that I can recall, since I've been using it (they were "too much cut/copy/paste" crashes). I also have new computers that we usually buy for the CAD guys.

I can't explain why you would have so many crashes in 2014, as I've never used it. Probably the "between the keyboard and the chair" problem. Slight smile
