Why do you call it "The Demon"?

Is PC-DMIS the demon, or does it just come with one?

Apologies for the choice of location. I just passed my M test today so I'm kinda bubbly.

  • Here's a recipe that will help you get a CRASH as soon as possible:

    - Run Windows 7/64 with only 4GB of RAM
    - Use an insufficient graphics card (or 'integrated graphics') (1)
    - Don't update graphics drivers

None of those are the fault of PC-DMIS (although the error handling in PC-DMIS could be better/more complete).

    (1) NVidia users: Note that the newer drivers from NVidia may need to be told explicitly to let PC-DMIS use the graphics card, if the computer also has 'integrated graphics' (or multiple graphic cards).
