Material thickness

Hi all,

Is there a way to tell which side the material thickness is set on the Cad, (Iges actually) as the drawings I have are not as informative as one would hope. When I set up the measurements I am not sure if I should compensate or not.

Typically there are a couple of lines somewhere on the CAD model showing material thickness and direction. It will be a small right angle with one line up from the CAD face and a line perpendicular to that one showing the thickness of the surface that isn't shown. The length of the vertical line extending away from the surface is "USUALLY" material thickness, but I would rely on the print for that personally.
