I have to stand up a large part (approx. 1000#) on its feet, but it isn't freestanding (center of gravity isn't over feet). It was suggested to clamp it to the table using the inserts, but I'm not sure what the pullout force is. Does anyone have an idea?
I ask my Sheffield tech and his response was that there is not a real specification other than the maximum clamping torque should not exceed 20 ft-lbs. He also mentioned that when inserts were removed, it wasn't the bonding agent that released, it was the granite.
