In general Apple has the advantage in graphic arts (e.g. photo editing), computer aided animation, education, a few others. There's a false sense of security that they don't get viruses - they do, but not at the rate of PCs. They tend to be more expensive. PCs are far more ubiquitous and multisourced. They are more widely deployed in business, so more business software is written for it. There are vastly more hardware options, though that also gives more opportunity for instability and crashing. They can be much less expensive, or much more expensive.
