I'm an apple guy at home, but Windows everywhere else.
There used to be a big difference when macs were still using their own processors, but now they use Intel just like everyone else.
The biggest thing for me, and the main reason why I still use their stuff: their computers and software are all designed around fixed hardware. The companies developing for their platform know exactly what ram/processors/graphics card etc are in the end users computer. A windows computer could be made from any number of different configurations so you lose optimization.
In the end: they do the same thing, depends what you think is prettier.
