My coworker will be retiring in July. Anyone want to come work with me?
The position is 2nd shift, although the possibility of a split shift, like 9-5ish, is being discussed.
We have 2 CMMs with PC-DMIS and a Romer arm with PolyWorks. PC-DMIS programming experience is a requirement, PolyWorks experience is a plus. The usual quality/GDT/blueprint reading/yada-yada is required.
We are automotive. Stamping primarily, with some weld assembly. Mostly ASME, with a smattering of ISO stuff.
2013_junkie Actually, no, I didn't look at your profile (lucky guess). I just picked a county that still included the 'burbs of Detroit, and said anything north of that. I almost picked Oakland. It was a close call.
I'm not at all sure. How willing are you to move to Michigan? Will you make carnitas for me? Speaka de English? In all seriousness, I've never dealt with immigrating, but I suppose a CMM programmer could qualify as skilled labor?
Is it serious enough that I should ask? Or are you yanking my chain?
Agreed with KIRBSTER , there are not to many of as out there, afther we try 8 different guys here (Canton Michigan), we endup teaching somebody internally, and that was for QC technitian, not even a programer!!
