Hi I'm new to the Forum my name is Nestor I'm currently working on a project with three different family of parts. Consisting of three in each family for a total of 9 pcs. each family of three has same features with small changes in each. My situation is that I would like to make one program for each and then relearn the hits for the other two similar parts. then so on and so forth. I am using pc-dims 2016 ver .0 any help would be appreciated
There is multiple ways of doing this from input comments, variables, cases, if/goto, and many more so I think you will have to do some research online and in the HELP files and then when you start writing the program we can answer some of your questions. as they arise.
Im am not sure about relearn points for what you are doing because once you run the program and close the relearn points will be saved. I only use them when I am programming offline so when I run the program for the first time I can move the probe where I need to and hit accept, then that movepoint is saved into my program.
But with PCDMIS there are many uses for one thing so I could be wrong.
