Storing probe tips

What do y'all use for storing probe tips that are not in use? I'm thinking the little plastic boxes with compartments in them would be good and allow room for the compartments to have a sticker/ label in them with the probe size. But I feel no need to try 5 things myself when I KNOW one of you has something simple and cool. :-)

  • I have the little box. It's only so useful... For example, there is no hole that I can safely use for my 1.5x30 tip, which I have multiples of because it's my go-to. (tiny grooves deep down in bores.... ugh...

and since I have no probe changer, I'm changing the tip manually more and more... taking them in and out of their little plastic box they come in is getting tedious. I'll keep my extras in there, but am thinking I might keep a tackle box-style plastic container in my probe drawer to keep my most used tips organized.
  • You don't have a probe rack and I'm willing you've reached out to management. Keep a log/journal of all the manual intervention and compile a nice little graph and present that to management. Make them feel like: if they don't invest in a rack... they're dumb!
