Management wants to create a load board for our quality department, so that they can see what we spend our time on and if we are worth keeping around. Lol so do you guys have to do something like this? If so how do you go about reporting? They have been trying to estimate how long it will take to create a program and measure parts based on size
and the time wasted on here, about the help you needed to waste time to record the time. ....................................Wait.........I think I just confused myself.
Well I sure hope that you are getting prints from top of the line draftsmen that didn't just graduate from college. I'm currently staring at one with a profile callout on a large slot that has no dimensions, a section view that doesn't indicate where the section came from and a FCF floating out in space with no leader line calling out a boundary on two inline holes that probably don't exist. Sure glad that there's no timer on me.
I just keep thinking this is crap, I've worked hard to get away from being micromanaged. I want to be paid for the value I can contribute and not the Hours I put in.
I agree. As long as programs are getting put out at a reasonable pace, why breathe down my neck?
"Look for the product, not for the process" and all that.
