I can select a plane and two circles and it does all the work for me! I don't even need to create a line between the circles. Also, it helps with my OCD. I always worry about which order is technically correct.
Workplane doesn't matter, but alignment does. The autocircle does in fact have a plane since it is a 2D feature, but it uses the nominal vector to define the plane the circle is created in, instead of the workplane. That vector is based off of the alignment.
I see. Yeah, I think I should switch back to what JEFMAN does (alignment in 3 parts). Seems like it would be the most accurate. If I were to do a 1 part alignment though, Auto-align rocks.
