For me its headphones unless I like what is playing in the shop (we have speakers in FAI connected to the shop speakers with our own volume control. I like hard rock/metal (Disturbed, Korn, Volbeat, Slipknot, ect...)
BUT WE ARE NOT DONE YET!!! Act in the next 5 minutes and well add a bonus CD that includes classic favorites like "Undocumented Enhancements" "Probe Changer" and "FLAGGING POST" as well as the exclusive track "Why Can't We Drink At Work" and we'll even ship it to your door for free!!!
Not so much at work, but while riding the bike or walking the dogs I listen to anything from Metallica, to Motown, to Amy WInehouse, to Dean Martin, George Strait, and more, all over the map. Depends on what's playing and what kind of mood I am in.
Meatbodies, opened for Pschedelic P0rn Crumpets. Some posters in here would like the probably like the first and possibly the second.
Tinariwen the next night. Yeah, "world" music (Malian desert).
October is a bit of a respite from traveling for shows, only have one trip planned (Diiv, Cleveland or Detroit, don't know yet)), a couple local shows.
November... damn... Two Toronto weekends, 2-3 local shows, and a 600 mile, two day, two "city" odyssey. (Frankie and the Witch Fingers, Stephane Wrembel, Moon Duo, Kikagaku Moyo, Allah-Las)
I listen to a lot of different stuff, I travel for specific stuff.
