About elections - no politics here !

Just one question, whatever the country, whatever the election:
When you vote, in general, do you vote for one candidate or against another ...?
The point of this question is not to know who you vote for, just how you do it ...

  • Until recently, in ignorance I voted what my parents voted and based it on party, mainly because I didn't understand the importance. Over the last several years, I have dug into policies and ask, "do their words line up with their actions?" because I saw a major disconnect with what was being said and what was being done. I spend a lot of time now doing more independent research and thinking for myself rather than being told what to think.
