Bored of programming

I have been in programming for about 6 years and feel like I am a bored of it right now.
I don't want to leave the field because of money and I do enjoy the work.

Do any of y'all ever feel bored of programming? What do you do to overcome the slump?

  • I never allow myself to be (or look) bored at work.

If I have some downtime in programming/if my machine(s) are running..I'm watching GD&T related videos, going over my Hexagon classroom stuff that I still have access to, or am on various CMM forums. As I learn new stuff, I'll revisit old programs and upgrade them.
  • Well I have plenty of work to do, probably 100+ hours of programming in my queue. I guess the better way to explain what I mean by bored is I feel like I am not learning anymore in my environment. I have been here almost 2 years and inherited a disaster at this company. But I am the sole programmer here and I have everything organized and all the processes hammered out exactly how I want them in regards to CMM programming
