The cmm is a G90c and I was wondering for the manual controls it seems to be a balancing act right now to where you move it in one direction and in order for it to stop you have to move it the same amount in the opposite direction. So Is there a way to change the controls to a more standard form of movement or does it have to stay in this mode? and If there is a way to change it, where are the settings for it?
Okay so LK jogbox with what looks like an old lk2000 controller. The bad news is that there is nothing in PC-DMIS that can help you. This is also the older controller that I have seen runaway when not properly tuned. If the joystick manually returns to center but the machine continues to move you're most likely going to have to contact LK or an aftermarket provider that can assist you with it. Either the jog box is faulty, or there is a tuning/setting that needs to be applied.
