My shop just pulled a Ted Cruz. The owners are on vacation at the beach this week while in the meantime yesterday the city was doing some work outside of our shop and busted a gas line.
How does this make them Ted Cruz? We were sent home early yesterday due to the gas leak and they are now forcing us to use ~6 hours of vacation to cover the missed time.
I feel like it is more shocking than anything that this cant be chalked up as an unforeseen business expense. I feel like it is pretty unjust. I was at work and willing to work the entire day.
