I used to ride a bit. Street bikes. DFW is really not very motorcycle friendly. I know this is an issue all over the country as well. I just didn't feel safe on the road anymore after a few close calls.
I've had 3 street bikes over the last 4 years and I've only done a total of about 6k miles in that time for the same reason. I also found the track and am always tempted to push the limits on the street so I don;t street ride that much.
