NOT Music at work!

For those of you who like to go astray from listening to music at work. What type of Podcast, Books, etc.., do you enjoy listening to other than the sweet beep of the CMM. I want to find new things to listen to along side with the things I already enjoy. With Podcasts I enjoy Tin Foil Hat, Broken Simulation, The Free Thinkers Society, No Carnival Parking, Sasquatch Chronicles, The Confessionals, Hammer Lane Legends, and The Dollop. When I get all caught up with those I let them build back up so I have a good supply, so I will listen to audio books. I am currently going through the Joe Ledger book series. The same author has the Rot & Ruin series that is also very good, and The Broken Lands series. Some other books I like are Devolution, Unwind, Compound, Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead "Series", and the Life as we knew it series. Please post your favorite podcast's and books!

  • I will defiantly have to check those out! I have heard them talked about on some of the podcasts I listen to, I just forgot the titles. And that is awesome! I don't play any instrument's but I praise sing some time's
But my wife play's sax, flute, piano, guitar, etc.. and we help with the youth a lot. I am in charge of creating and setting up events for them. Some of the youth have been telling me to start a podcast for awhile now because they say it's fun to listen to me talk about conspiracies, and cryptid's. So when I mentioned doing it they said they would advertise for me when I do, and offered to help with graphic design and everything. Right now im looking at an old clayton homes building that has been empty for about 10 years, its right off the highway and a bit run down but I do construction and remodeling also so I don't mind another project!

The books are long, but packed with so much info!

I play drums, bass, guitar, and know the basics of piano. My wife sings, but has also played piano and violin in her past.

I pretty much set up our entire service on Sundays. I have volunteers that run it on Sundays, but I get all the lyrics, videos, lights, sermon slides, and stage prepped every Sunday morning. Then hop on stage to play for the worship band. Then after the set, hop back in the back booth and make sure things are still running smoothly. Usually I am adjusting cameras at that point.
