Hey guys/gals I am wondering how you and your CMM are used. aside from CMM operator, what titles do you carry? many? Engineer? Programmer? Metrologist?
My title is "Quality Engineer/CMM Programmer". We use PC DMIS, Quindos, as well as M&M Gear Checker CMMs.
I Program 70% of the time. Rest of the time I have various QE responsibilities related to our Quality System. When people are sick/on vacation I'll play CMM Operator for the day.
