Hi everyone, I have this question, we have an unused TV set in our measurement laboratory and I wonder what it could be used for. Let me know if you have such a TV and what you use it for. Greetings
that could still work, for when you are at the machine watching it run a 'tricky' portion of a program, you could see what the program is doing without going back to the desk.
Display a slideshow of random impressive looking charts and graphs and see what happens. "I don't know what that chart is, but it has a squiggly line going up and to the right. Good job! Keep up the great work!"
put a webcam 'somewhere' and stream it to the TV (and I don't mean a bathroom or something, aim it at a 'problem area' of the shop so everyone can see the slackers goofing off in a corner somewhere)
In our shop we used to have a TV that would display all the current active jobs in the shop, based on job number with no other info. It was a good way to show customers what were we working on, without them knowing who the customer was or the parts that were being made.
