Twitter

Anyone see the news about Elon Musk offering to buy Twitter??? I want to see it happen! He has the board by the... you know... the thing(s) Rolling eyes. He already owns 10% and turned down a board position. If they accept the offer, all stockholders get cashed out at $54.20 a share. If they reject, Elon sells all of his shares along with a lot of retail traders and the stock tanks. This is getting interesting. This is what I call "reality television".

Oh, and the comments from the left are hilarious!!!Sunglasses
  • Twitter is the sewer of the internet.

It's a virtual 'blue city' on the web, if you savvy.

I'm pulling for free speech and the truth over censorship and intolerance.

    What a concept.
  • Free speech is very hurtful and dangerous.

And full of misinformation that conflicts with the opinions of Bill Gates.

    It must be stopped.

I am on Twitter, but have backed off immensely. Life is so much more beautiful when one gets outside and enjoys nature and tries having a good conversation with people. Twitter (or any social media company) is not real life. The problem with social media is people can say whatever they want and don't get throat punched enough. Before social media, if you said something stupid, you got smacked. That shut you up real quick.
  • More on Elon Musk... Did anybody see the super factory he made in Texas? if not check it out. Also.... Another product he is launching in the near future is Optimus. If you haven't heard about it check it out ASAP.

I love everything Elon does (except for naming children) but I'm starting to get the impression he is setting up the destruction of Earth and then making a run for Mars. Purchasing Twitter is the stepping stone to Left-leaning Anarchy.

    Exactly.

Going on Facebook or Twitter changes your mood, in a similar way to a traffic jam.

I can't think of a single time I've been called a racist in traffic. Rolling eyes

I'm listening to his podcast with Joe Rogan where he is talking about Neural Link. The guy is so smart and I really like his goals with Neural Link. I also see the potential threats from it too. He is going for faster data transfer from humans to computers. In his words, now we can do 100kb/s and that's being generous. The most common and most accessible way to transfer data from the human brain to a computer is the keyboard. Imagine if we can transfer ideas to a computer faster and more accurately. We could go back to the days when we did great big things like the Apollo rockets, the Hoover Dam and the SR-71 with the only difference being better technology.

Kinda going off the topic here (but it's my post so... shoot me) but, even though I was born in the mid 80's, I'm in awe of the "impossible" things that were accomplished from the 60's to the 80's. The only things that make headlines today are wars, politicians and the latest celebrity gossip. The only technological advancements that have made national and worldwide news... was done by Elon and his companies.

To your last comment , I think Elon wants to advance the human race. I think he is trying to improve the quality of human life and I'm all for it. At the same time, I think there needs to be safety protocols implemented in things like Neural Link to protect the end users. I don't think he is trying to destroy earth then making a run for Mars. He is just asking one of two simple questions, why or why not.

Not being argumentative or anything, just giving my opinion just as you were. Who knows, maybe gave Elon PNT31 Rolling eyes
