Calibration. Different results

I greet you all, colleagues.
I have a small problem that tends to come and go when calibrating angles. I work with many styli and use a 9-slot magazine for this. Each stylus has about 10 different angle positions. When I did the calibration, two angles on different probes were out of tolerance. One probe has a CM25-2 probe and the other CM25-3. And at the same time, PSDMIS accepts the calibration result without asking the operator. The next day I did a similar calibration and the result was OK.And always out-of-tolerance angles equal to A90 or more than A90 It is very strange . I have been working in this mode for 3 years and there were no such problems. And this year it started. I check the probes visually and do the cleaning before each calibration the same way always. What could be the problem ?

  • Hi Dan, it's nice to see your point of view, even if I disagree with it...
You help a lot of people here who don't say where they come from...
Maybe they are Russian, like Sergiy, or North Korean, Iranian or terrorist.
Can you imagine someone not wanting to help you just because you're American, or because of your views on guns, or because they don't like your president (remember who was president of the United States in the past, maybe it wasn't always the best)?
It's courageous for Sergiy to say where he comes from, in the current situation.
I'm French, I didn't choose it, I'm not proud of it, but I'm not ashamed of it, and I'm sure it's the same for Sergiy.

    Just a thought!

If someone chooses to identify themselves to the group as being from a terrorist nation then I will choose to not help them, its as simple as that. Sorry Sergiy.

I am an American. There will always be help for me when I need it because the rest of the world needs us to survive. I thank God every day that I was born here.

PS I have no views on guns....just a god given right to possess them. The right to keep and bare arms shall not be infringed....period. Clear statement. No room for interpretation. Since YOU brought it up... If Sergiy's country had the ability to defend themselves maybe they wouldn't be ruled by commies. Ever think of thatSlight smile ?

CMMs are a highly advanced machine that cost $$. In a country like Russia, it is almost 100% guaranteed that a company that owns one/employs programmers has state funded connections.
