Wow, you and your dogs have been busy. You'll sure eat good this winter. How many dogs do you have right now?

My life has been pretty boring lately. I spent all spring and summer fixing up a rental house. The fall was spent catching up on projects in my own home. Now that winter is here it is time to goof off with hobbies! I have a 3D printer that has been collecting dust. I'm looking forward to playing more with that.
  • This spring I planted two apple trees, 3 blueberry bushes, grape vine, raspberries, planted 30 Dwarf Burning Bush to create a hedge. About 12 died, so this spring I will buy more. Did a bunch of gardening. This fall we did some canning, dried Carolina Reapers that I need to make into hot sauce yet.

    Not too many house projects.

Otherwise, I have been laying low. I have been reading a lot lately. Just finished my 4th book in the last 4 months or so. I have been reading on how the subconscious mind works lately. Next book I am starting is about the Law of Attraction. This is definitely a new avenue for me and has been very interesting.

I'm watching the lakes here in Michigan, ready for ice fishing.

My brother bought a house that was like one of those zombie houses that people flip. I've spent the past few months doing plumbing, electrical, kitchen remodeling and general house renovations.

I also just started up the forge and started the forging season off with a paring knife:

  • I have 3 Drahtaars and typically 95% of the dogs I train are that breed from a few breeders and their new puppy owners.
  • end of the year push so we are working 12 - 14 Mon. thru Fri. Sat and Sun, I have been fishing up and down the Ca coast from Ventura to Mexico.
  • What kind of printer do you have? I've got an Ender 3 V2 and an older Tevo Tornado i like to play around with.
  • , I was not familiar with that breed. I just read up on them. They sound like great dogs. I bet they can be both challenging and rewarding to train.
  • , I have an Artillery X1. It's been a pretty good printer, but in hindsight it may not have been the best one for me to have started with. It is popular enough that there is a good size community using it, so there is some support out there, but nothing like with the Ender 3. It's crazy how many videos, articles, and aftermarket parts and mods there are for that printer. I kind of want to get one just to be part of the club.
  • Cris_C, Thats why I went with an Ender3. There are tons of parts, upgrades, and videos to support most everything for them. I've got mine modded about as far as I want to go with it. I thought about linear rails, but the cost of a decent kit is about half what I paid for the printer itself.
