Welp, I was just layed off last Friday along with +100 of my colleagues. For those who don't know I left the CMM world 1.5yrs ago to pursue a career as a Controls Engineer for a company called ICON Technology that uses automation to 3D print homes. It was a blast and learned a lot of skills. Although the Controls Engineering market is good I would really like to come back to CMM Programming with my newly acquired skills. I feel like I can make a dent in this world... or at least attempt to.

Never seen anything like it! ~25% of the company cut! Some were even being called to go back which tells me it wasn't well coordinated. Those left even quit as demands didn't change even with less people. Thanks
