Forum Migration message?

Man, that message at the top of this forum scares me.
This forum has such a wealth of knowledge and is a DeFacto community of peers, with which, we have developed relationships. If it gets wiped, or reorganized, it will negatively impact the knowledgebase as well as the relationships we've developed (ie the off-topic section, private message history, "tenure" and "experience" ratings etc).

Does anyone have the details of what's to come, as well as what's going to happen with this current forum?

Is Hexagon going to fire off another NJB (Next JogBox) flop, by implementing some engineering solution with ZERO "VOC" (Voice Of Customer) or end-user input?

Or is the sky falling and i'm chicken little?

I've logged into that new Nexus Portal, and I'm not a fan of the way it looks. I prefer this place with it's simple and easy to navigate message board.

Have you signed up for Nexus Portal? Go here if not : https://nexus.hexagon.com/

When logged in to Nexus, left side panel on the Nexus Portal Dashboard click Tech Center > Community

Beware, it looks more like an FAQ board than an actual forum like this does. It's quite plain.

Unless they make changes, once the switch is made, I will no longer be here. I use XP and the browser I can use will not work with that 'portal'.

I completely agree, Matt. I'm a new member here, but I absolutely hate the "modern" look of all these forums/communities/help sites. I like plain old message boards. They are light weight, and easy to navigate with little clutter. That new site is filled to the brim with buttons, sidebars that follow you as you scroll, etc. I'm already sick of it and I only just got on.
