I'd like to put my machine's serial number into a text file and be able to import it into the report header instead of stats count.
That way I can move programs from machine to machine without having to change the header info each time.
I don't know about other versions, but with 3.7 I was able to include a machine identifier.
There is a bitmap file (.bmp) that is used to show the logo on the first page of the report.
I just modified the existing .bmp file to show the machine's ID.
In 3.7 that file is titled WAI.bmp
It should be possible, but if each machine has it's own installation of PC-DMIS (meaning you don't share the report templates) then they will have its own report template with its own label = won't be needing the variable.
