Execute Command...

Hi!

I'm trying to do a very basic command script, load a specific probe. Only way I´ve seen to create a command object is through Add, which adds it to the current part program. However, I don´t want to currently loaded program edited in any way during execution. Am I missing something? Do I have to add, execute and then remove the added lines?

  • Good idea, only problem is the probe to be loaded may not be in the currently loaded program.

I agree with VinniUSMC, not sure why you want to load a probe that isn't even in the program, but I assume you have your reasons.

It does sound like you are limited to your first option, add it, execute it, and then remove it. Technically though, you have edited your program, but in theory, it will be left the same way as you found it if done right.
