Problem getting Date/Time using "Now"

We have 6 CMM's running PCDMIS and the same basic script...one of them returns an empty string when calling "runTime = Now".

Any thoughts? I assume it must be a system or program setting. We've had some other small issues on this same machine that required some setting changes.
  • You don't say what Windows or PC-DMIS version?

I have seen (a couple of times) a problem with Vista/W7 that the national settings looked like they were set correctly in a newly configured computer, but many things worked erroneously (among them dates). Starting Windows control Panel and changing (for example) to English style, and then back to Swedish style fixed it in those cases.

Also check the datetime settings in Windows Control Panel ("National Settings"? freely translated from Swedish) that there really is a default format selected.
  • Sorry, I forgot...PCDMIS 2011 MR1 & Win7.

Thank you for the suggestions. Looking on my computer, I see Region and Language, I'll give that a try. I don't see much else I can change besides time zone and date formatting.

I noticed the script also uses "Date" and "Time", and that appears to be working on that machine. So for now I'm going to try "runTime = Date & " " & Time" and see what happens. But ultimately I still want Now to return a proper value.
