So ive gotten the new import-to-excel-pcd-v42 and i love what it does but i have no clue in the world how to edit this or anything and neither does anyone else here in my egineering dept. What im trying to do is take whats in the import-to-excel and be able to throw it on one of our allready laid out inspections excel forms in a horizontal fashion. I could probaly write 4 pages just trying to explain what im trying to do. But in a nutshell if someone can point me towards somewhere that shows me how to take script from one excel spread sheet to another. I guess ill just try to draw it out since everyone works better with visuals
The one thing i frogot to put in the visual was also make it so the measured dimensions are put into the rows that are labeled sample#
Not sure if one of the older pcdmistoexcel scripts would work in 4,2 or not but sounds like what you want. Or you could maybe set up a macro in another excel file and have it do it for you.
My best guess is like T's but I'd just bring them into a import page and then disperice them from there.
So if you part number imports into your import page at say C12, then in your 6650 sheet you need to go to G7 and type =import page!C12

I don't know enough BASIC to help you write it with BASIC CODE but, if you already have the info in the excel sheet or you can get it there you don't need any BASIC CODE from there on.
Can you get any of your dimensions toa excel sheet?
Yah i can get it into an excel spreadsheet with that custom scripts, i just wanted to know how to pick it apart and have it spit out dimensions the way i want it to, like go horizontally instead of vertically and in specific rows and colums
