Latest Gear with what version ?

Client upgrading their gear package to the latest. They would like to run 3.7MR4/3 with it, will it work ?

They really want to stay with the version they have. I assume Hexagon doesn't test much with older versions ?

Anyone else who uses the gear software, could you please chime in ?

I find it hard to believe there are so few ppl using this software on this board. I know its not widely used, but geesh. It would be nice if Hexagon guys chimed in......

The earliest version that is compatible with PC Dmis gear is 4.1. I think it has something to do with the reporting. I've just started using it again after about a year off. I'm finding limitations, but as usual with the Demon there is always another way around the block. Version 2.3 is a little more intuitive. The manuals are available for download at Wilcox.

I know this don’t answer your question but I have ran PC Gear from year 2009 to now.
We do keep up to the new Ver of Gear and Pcdmis.
I think he would have to update but there is also Quindos that has a gear program, it’s not as easy to use as PC Gear but it can do anything you can think of.
