reverse order of features?

Hi I want to mirror a bunch of features, but it would be really cool if I could reverse the order of the mirrored features as it would speed up the cycle time so it doesnt have to go all the way to the other side of the part. (i.e. Im programming the bottom half left to right, when I mirror to the top, I would like it to go right to left, not left to right again). Is there a way to do this without using "optimize path" and hoping PCDMIS doesnt mess up clearance moves?

Thanks

  • No it does not. Think of it this way: the part is symmetric about the X-axis or Y-axis and the origin is in the center. I programmed what would be Quadrant 4 in a CW fashion. If i mirror these features using Flip Y in Define Pattern, the new features in Quadrant 1 go CCW from Quadrant 2 to Quadrant 4 making the program take longer, not CW from Quadrant 4 to Quadrant 2 like I want which makes the program take longer.
