Acceleration parameters

2000 vintage Mistral 775 / PcDmis V4.2 MR1
This CMM accelerates veeeerrrry slowly, & I think maybe someone has been tinkering with some of the machine parameters.
QUESTION 1 - Under F10, Acceleration, the Maximum Acceleration values are X=0, Y=0, Z=0. Is this correct for this CMM?
QUESTION 2 - Are there other settings I should be looking at?

What is the max acceleration that can be used? I am at 1800 and do not see a lot of difference between that and the 600 which is the default.

MOVESPEED/ 200
ACCELERATION/MAXACCELX=1200, MAXACCELY=1200, MAXACCELZ=1200

The maximum acceleration for a Mistral is 666 mm/s ² on each axis, which should look like this:

ACCELERATION/MAXACCELX=666, MAXACCELY=666, MAXACCELZ=666

This results in a maximum 3D acceleration of 1600mm/s ², which is the composite of all three axes accelerating at 666mm/s ² simultaneously. Entering any higher a value won't accelerate the machine any faster.

Also keep in mind, this is the rate at which the machine picks up speed until it gets to its specified or machine maximum move speed, which in your case is 385mm/s.
