Hi,
I'm having an odd problem with the newest version of PC DMIS 2013. Every time I have a probe change during my program the CMM wants to make an absolute move way up into the rafters. There is no probe changer associated with this machine and the program is an old one that was written in 2010 and has been used often since then with no problems on the 2012 version. There is no absolute moves in the program but its acting like there should be a probe changer outside of its parameters that it has to go to. Even during calibrations you have to go into the setup and change the currently loaded probe or it will try to make this imaginary absolute move. I should also mentioned that I have re-installed, restarted and tried some different setting with no success. I think its possessed...
Check the setup screen in the calibration dialog to make sure you don't have a large retract set in there. Also, if you have the probe changer option turned on in your portlock, you might check the probe changer calibration dialog to see if there is are any odd values entered in there (make sure no changer is defined, no probes are listed in the slots, etc.)
