Just started at a new company a few days ago and they have a touch trigger scanning probe (sm25). I managed to set it up with no prior knowledge of what i was doing but all ive managed is single line scans. I dont have a CAD and need to know how to do a patch scan across the surface of the part. As of right now Ive managed to map the scan without issues but when I go to finish the feature and i goes to test it, the first point just jams into the part and stops. Any ideas?
Yeah, proper training for anything is preferrable, but ive rarely had that choice -_-
No, Im just trying to make a surface scan of a part in a fixture so I can compare the location of points along the outside of the fixture edge (datum).
