Need help!!! Need Out Of Tol warning pop-up

I have been having an issue with our night shift operators that cant seem to read their reports before sending them along to the next op.

This is the 3rd time that parts have been sent back because a bad report was sent to a customer. Each group that is returned has to be 100% inspected, costing 20+ hours of inspection time. This has got to stop. I was wondering if there was a way to make a dialog box pop up if a dimension registers out of tolerance. Anything would help!

I greatly appreciate any help.

Why not just have them stamp (bug) the reports.
If they bug off a report that has OOT conditions then its time for disciplinary action.

You can do this using ,assignments, "If" statements and comments.

I put code like this after each dimension.

IF/DIMENSION_NAME.D.DEV>=DIMENSION_NAME.D.PTOL*(0.8) OR DIMENSION_NAME.D.DEV<=DIMENSION_NAME.D.MTOL*(-0.8) COMMENT/REPT, ,/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ , CHECK DIMENSION NAME! END_IF/

If the measurement is greater than 80% of the tolerance, I slap this ugly comment on the report that stands out like a sore thumb.

If operators ignore reports now, they will ignore them even if you sound a giant fog horn and have red flashing lights when a part measures bad. You will have to have some support from management to hold operators accountable. That's something that I struggle with a lot myself.

The newest version (2015) has a notification feature which, at the end of the program, can play a sound that signals that dimensions are out of tolerance.

OOT features are indicated in red, right?
It's not clear for them that if they see something in red, they have to stop and verify closely, measure again, or something?

You can add INPUT comments to your part programs so that every operator inserts information and then pull that info to your reports. That way when you see it, you know who measured that part, and all the information you want/need to add.

To add a comment line in your program:
Insert>Report Command>Comment
type of comment: Input

To define an assignment of a variable:
Inert>Assignment

In your program it would look something like this:

I will try this, they are not reading the reports I have tried everything. I filed a report with HR so hopefully this stops soon.
