TCP/IP failed ???????

Neutral face I've tried looking to see if anyone has had this problem with no luck. When I fire up PCDMIS I get a TCP/IP communication failed switch to RS/232 . I'm running PCDMIS 2015.0 and a brown and sharp global cmm . Thanks in advance .

  • from my notes:

    edit>machine interface setup
    leitz protocol setup tab
    check box "use TCP/IP link to drive the machine" needs to be checked


    then go to windoze start menu>settings>network connections

    probably have two cards, one is internet, other is controller

    TCP/IP address: 80.128.0.2
    subnet mask : 255.0.0.0

    default gateway : left blank
