So I started writing a program with Clearance Cube and it is not working the way I expected it to. So, in the middle of the program I click on the Activate Clearance Cube to turn it off and I get and message that says " Clearance Cube cannot be disabled when a feature has its ClearanceCube Motion enabled." Any thoughts on what this means? I thought I could turn off and on like my clearance planes?
On the Cube settings dialog, status tab, manually edit every single feature to OFF.
What about the Cube isn't working?
I'll bet it's using the feature vectors, not probe tip vector, for navigation - right?
Josh - I wanted to place a move point in the part for the next feature but it kept moving the probe out after it executed the move. What I ended up doing was just increased my pre-hit distance to clear a ledge. Thanks, though I think next time I will use the cube setting. Thank you.
