TP with nominal angle. HELP

Hello all.

I have one problem with reporting TP which have for nominal an angle and distance.
is this even possible in PC-DMIS?
In the attach photo you can see what is the problem.
Datum A is circle, B is frontal plane and C is small plane inside.

Our customer said they can measure this, but I doubt it that they can.

Do you have any solution for this?

Hi and Welcome!
Datum C seems a little strange, you could certainly use the slot centre and align between the hole and centre of slot, rotate alignment around 27.5° and move the C/S the nominal 7.4 and then report points along the edge as position ±0.1?
Should really be profile of surface.

Here is picture where is better shown the dat. C.
If i try with FCF i don't get the right result for nominal 7.4.

Agreed this should be profile, recently we had a similar callout and with customer agreement we rotated to the basic angle and took points and dimensioned as single axis TP, then had to callout the angularity between the faces.

I also doubt they report as per the drawing callout.

Not a surprise.

ISO is different than ASME, and that makes a difference in how/if it can be answered.

Can't see attachments?!

In ISO you can have position of a face (i.e. doesn't have to be a feature of size) but without the print I can't offer more advice.
