Is there a way to change the default value so the dimension-results DON'T go to "STATS" or "BOTH", but only to "REPORT"?
Our SPC-software can't handle the data from ex. FCFLOC's so the data doesn't get imported into the database, but are "put aside".
The colleagues in Process would like to have those data removed from the XSTATS-file.
The same goes for the data that isn't defined as a "KEY-DIMENSION".
The only way, that I know of, is by changing the OUTPUT-value in the dimension from "BOTH" to "REPORT".
So, to make a long story short, the most of the dimensions on my report stays on the report, and NOT to SPC.
Therefore I think it would be easier for me, to change the dimension that ARE going to be sent to SPC, rather than changing ALL the others.
FIND AND REPLACE works for this as well as the DATA FIELD EDIT Wizard. You can also go the long way and change it when you create the dimension. You can go to the EDIT window and hover your cursor over the word OUTPUT in each dimension and change it there, and finally, you can hit F9 on each dimension and change it in the popup.
When you create your dimension, set the option to "REPORT" in the
dialog. This "should" stick throughout your program. You might need to do that in all dimensions/locations/whatever dialogs though.

That was even better, but as VinniUSMC wrote, it works as long as the dialog box is open.
Once closed, and I have to start it again.
That's PC-DMIS ;-)
That's weird, I could have sworn that the dialog saved the last used setting and used that setting the next time you opened the dialog. At least I think it has done that in the past. This is something PC-DMIS should do by default - always use the last value used in all comboboxes etc.
