Auto calibrate

When you use auto calibrate can you choose the probe angles you want to calibrate? I have a probe with like 20 articulations on file. Job i am running only needs 3. Machine does not have probe changer so i am manualy changing probe to measure small holes. I put auto cali in program so that i can hit enter and walk away to work on other machine. I assume that you can set what probes to auto cal in that unit ? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

  • Yes, you create what is called a parameter set and call that parameter set in the AutoQual command.

    To do this select the required tips from the tip list in the probe utilities dialog.

    Click measure

    In the next window under the parameter set section give the set (the selection of tips with the specified settings) a name and hit Save.

    In the edit window you can now select that set (instead of ALL_TIPS_WITH_DEFAULTS).
