I have come across another issue that im having with exact measure ( i have not tried this on "geometric tolerance command" yet). The problem i am having is the datum shift when applied thru simultaneous evaluation (s.e.) is making erroneous datum shifts. What i mean by that is when all the positions have mmc applied to -b- the measured values range from .012 - .022 on a .010 position. So i looked at the datum shifts made and they were x -.0060 and z +.0080 i then looked at the measured deviations and they were all around x +.004 -to +.007 and z -.007 to -.009. I then removed the mmc from -b- and the positions were no more than .006. So it appears the datum shift was applied made all the hole locations worse.
I did take note that the positions in question used the following axes (x z) , (y z) and (xy), and thought maybe that combination of axes to consider was to completex for exact measure to make sense of.
But really i was just curious as to if anyone else has had an instance where datum shift has made positions worse across the board and not helped a single on during an s.e. Or maybe an error i made that im not seeing.
