Automatically Calibrate a Single Tip

good day,

can someone explain to me how exactly "Automatically Calibrate a Single Tip" works.

So far I have only managed that pcDMIS gives me an error message that the matrix cannot be calculated.

otherwise I've always used AutoCalibrate Probe with no problems.

I need a small program that calibrates 5 tips/positions each on three different probes without me being at the machine.
(the probes have many more positions)

I would be happy if someone could provide me with a working example routine or a piece of code.

Many Thanks.

  • I'd just use AutoCalProbe with parameter sets.

    From probe Utilities:

    Select the tip(s) you want
    Click Measure
Define a Parameter set name and click Save
In the program use and Auto Calibrate command and select the parameter set name instead of All_TIPS_WITH_DEFAULTS.

You can have multiple AutoQual commands in you need to do a few tips per probe
