Problems with outputting RTF files...

Hi all, first post here and I'm desperate to get this fixed. So, I'm trying to output an RTF file of my measurement results.

I already went to Report Window Print Setup and set the output to RTF. When I press the print button in my report window when I'm ready to save the data, it will have me choose a destination for my file (Save As window) and it also shows its going to save it as an RTF. But then after I choose a location and hit 'Save', another very similar box will appear and have me choose my location again? And this time it will show that it's saving it as a PDF. Once I hit OK on this window it just saves it as a PDF.

Anyone know what's going on here? Thanks!

  • When you do to the file location, is there an RTF and PDF file or just a PDF?

    In the print options, I have it set up where it prints a physical copy and a PDF copy of my report. It does the same thing you described, a 2nd print window popping up for a PDF file.

    It's only creating a PDF. The first window that comes up is called 'Save As' and it shows that it's saving it as an RTF. After I choose a spot to save it, another window comes up called 'Output File Name' and it shows its saving it as a PDF (drop down arrow doesnt have any other options). I've tried hitting cancel when the second window pops up, then nothing gets created at all.

    I have a feeling the fix for this is either really obvious or really obscure....
