Based on this description, is there something I am clearly doing wrong? This is quite disruptive.
How reliable is paste with pattern in the newer versions. I used it all the time back in 2014 and never had an issue with it.
The Plot Thickens After playing with it some more I have discovered that PwP isnt generally broken for me, its only broken for 
GENERIC FEATURES. I wish I had known this yesterday because I spent roughly 3 hours manually copying features I could done instantly with PwP. I was only trying to pattern a generic plane when I first tried, this morning I tried measured and constructed features and they worked fine. I try generics again.
STILL BROKEN.
