Having torn one apart recently, there are holes under the controller for cables to run in/out, but they velcro the computer down.
Shove something thin and strong under the computer to separate the velcro, it is GREAT quality velcro. See if you can slide the computer forward enough to get to plug your cable in.
Option two, there is a plate on the top of the cabinet that bots into the cabinet with two screws around the cable bundle going up to the monitor and keyboard shelf.
Remove those screws.
The controller just lifts up off the back, it is hanging on two posts.
Then you can get in the back of the cabinet with ease, do what you want, re-hang the controller and bolt the plate back on so the controller won't pop off unexpectedly.
