So I am going to have to figure out how to show where a slot edge intersects the surface of a cylinders OD to establish the overall length of a chamfer from the slot up to the surface of the OD of a cylinder any suggestions.....
Measure the cylinder and two lines on the 45 deg chamfer opposite each other. Construct a pierce point for each of the lines to the cylinder and dimension. This assumes the chamfer is large enough to measure a reliable line.
Depending on the distance limit maybe better/quicker to check with a caliper, shadow graph or GO NO-GO gauge.
