Probe Building & SM25-1 Module Issue

Hey guys,
It's been some time since I've had to build a new probe, but I'm pretty sure I did it correctly. Problem I'm having is I built the probe with all the correct components and modules (PH10MQ-SP25M-SM25-1SH25-1-TIP6by75MM_CF), but when I ask to pick the probe up, or calibrate it, it wants to go straight to the probe without picking up the SM25-1 module.
Can someone tell what I may be missing? Thanks!

  • You need to assign the new probe to two different ports to make the machine drop the module off in one port and the stylus in another port. Assign the probe to the port that holds the SM25-1 Module and also assign it to the port that holds the SH25-1 stylus holder. The port that holds the module will have several probes assigned to it - all the probes that use that module.

The software will know which item goes in which port based on the type of holder that each port is configured for.

If you assign the probe to just one port, the software assumes you want to store both the module and the stylus holder (attached to the module) in the same port. It can be useful if you have a module that only ever holds one probe build. It saves time when changing probes and it only uses one port instead of two.
