Trying to calibrate a probe that is used on normal production program. It is a 6mm x 150mm probe using an extended force TP20 module. It keeps failing calibration. When I look at the results, for the A90B0 wrist angle, the StdDev is .0047 (which is probably not unusual for a probe that long). How can I open up that tolerance so that it passes calibration? I thought that it was something on the probe setup screen....
Actually, it's not the standard deviation after all. It's the probe diameter that is failing. It's a 6mm probe and I measured it and it's correct. Not sure why this is failing....
It is probably because you were using a stylus that is 2.5x the spec of the module. As you take hits, the stylus would bend. I imagine the measured size is coming out small.
